Last updated: April 9, 2026

BrightCut ("we," "us," or "our") operates the website brightcut.ai (the "Service"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you visit our website. Please read this policy carefully. If you disagree with its terms, please discontinue use of the site.

Information We Collect

Usage Data

We automatically collect certain information when you visit BrightCut, including your browser type, operating system, referring URLs, pages viewed, and the time and date of your visit. This data is used solely to analyze trends, administer the site, and improve user experience.

Cookies

We use cookies and similar tracking technologies to track activity on our Service and hold certain information. Cookies are files with a small amount of data that may include an anonymous unique identifier. You can instruct your browser to refuse all cookies or to indicate when a cookie is being sent. However, if you do not accept cookies, you may not be able to use some portions of our Service.

Images You Upload

Images uploaded for processing are used only to perform the requested operation (background removal or mockup generation). Images are not stored on our servers after processing is complete and are never used for advertising or sold to third parties.

Log Files

BrightCut follows standard practice of using log files. These files log visitors when they visit websites. The information collected by log files includes internet protocol (IP) addresses, browser type, Internet Service Provider (ISP), date and time stamp, referring/exit pages, and the number of clicks. This data is not linked to any information that is personally identifiable. The purpose of this information is for analyzing trends, administering the site, tracking users' movement on the website, and gathering demographic information.

Google AdSense & Advertising Cookies

BrightCut uses Google AdSense to serve advertisements. Google, as a third-party vendor, uses cookies to serve ads on our site. Google's use of the DART cookie enables it to serve ads to users based on their visit to our site and other sites on the Internet.

Google AdSense also uses DoubleClick cookies to improve advertising. These cookies may be used to show you more relevant ads based on your browsing history. The DoubleClick cookie enables Google and its partners to serve ads based on your prior visits to our website or other websites.

Users may opt out of the use of the DART cookie and DoubleClick cookies by visiting the Google Ads Settings page. Alternatively, you can opt out of some third-party vendor use of cookies for personalized advertising by visiting www.aboutads.info/choices.

We have implemented the following Google Analytics Advertising features: Remarketing with Google Analytics, Google Display Network Impression Reporting, and Google Analytics Demographics and Interest Reporting. These features use first-party cookies (such as the Google Analytics cookie) and third-party cookies (such as the DoubleClick cookie) together to inform, optimize, and serve ads based on your past visits to our site.

Third-Party Advertisers

We may employ third-party companies and individuals to facilitate our Service, provide the Service on our behalf, or perform Service-related services. These third parties may have access to aggregated, non-personal usage data only to perform tasks assigned to them on our behalf. Third-party ad servers or ad networks use technologies like cookies, JavaScript, or web beacons in their respective advertisements and links that appear on BrightCut. These are sent directly to users' browsers. They automatically receive your IP address when this occurs. These technologies are used to measure the effectiveness of advertising campaigns and/or to personalize the advertising content that you see on websites that you visit. BrightCut has no access to or control over these cookies used by third-party advertisers.

Google Analytics

We use Google Analytics to monitor and analyze the use of our Service. Google Analytics is a web analytics service offered by Google that tracks and reports website traffic. Google uses the data collected to track and monitor the use of our Service. This data is shared with other Google services. You can opt out of having your activity available to Google Analytics by installing the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on. The add-on prevents the Google Analytics JavaScript (ga.js, analytics.js, and dc.js) from sharing information with Google Analytics about visits activity. For more information on Google's privacy practices, please visit the Google Privacy & Terms web page at https://policies.google.com/privacy.

We Do Not Sell Your Personal Data

BrightCut does not sell, trade, or rent your personal identification information to others. We do not share personal data with third parties except as described in this policy (e.g., advertising partners using aggregated or anonymized data). Your uploaded images are processed and immediately discarded — they are never sold, shared, or used for any purpose beyond fulfilling your request.

Children's Privacy (COPPA)

Our Service does not address anyone under the age of 13 ("Children"). We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under 13. In compliance with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA), if we discover that a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, we will immediately delete such information from our servers. If you are a parent or guardian and you are aware that your child has provided us with personal information, please contact us at privacy@brightcut.ai so that we can take the necessary actions.

Your Privacy Rights

Depending on your location, you may have certain rights regarding your personal information, including the right to access, correct, or delete any personal data we hold about you. Since BrightCut does not store user accounts or images after processing, most personal data is limited to anonymized analytics. To exercise any privacy rights or request data deletion, please contact us at privacy@brightcut.ai.

We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page with a new "Last updated" date. You are advised to review this Privacy Policy periodically for any changes. Changes to this Privacy Policy are effective when they are posted on this page.
